THE 26/27 MOONSHED

SKI FILM

spida_inverted.png

The crew has gone down the rabbit hole, and they're hoping there's a ski film down there. We're not reinventing the wheel - we're just revisiting it. There's been a lot of lines and style left behind lately (*cough Crested Butte cough*) and we've got something to say about it.

The 26/27 film intends to be nothing more than a showcase of the intrinsic ski behavior of those institutionalized by Crested Butte's mild terrain (I sense sarcasm), plus, a few unnecessary creative liberties.

LOCATIONS

The majority of it all is going down in Crested Butte, with excursions to Canada, Montana, and wherever there's a park in May. We can't really get into specifics, as Barbossa said, "For certain, you have to be lost to find a place as can't be found. Elseways everyone would know where it was."

PREMIERE

CRESTED BUTTE | GUNNISON | BOZEMAN | TELLURIDE

There's a rumor that MOONSHED makes a film simply as an excuse to have a raging party at the premiere - definitely not true*. Watching skiing on the interwebs is important, yes (maybe?), but packing a theater to watch some bunk skiing go down in your home town - that's what we're all about.
